Renee DeAngelis

Renee spent over two decades building and scaling businesses in the indoor climbing, yoga, and fitness industry. As CEO and co-owner of Planet Granite she grew the company from a single gym to four locations before merging with two other climbing companies backed by private equity to form Movement Climbing, Yoga and Fitness. She then served as COO of Movement, leading the company through the complex work of merging three distinct cultures and operations into the largest nationwide operator of climbing gyms.

That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of what it takes to scale a mission-driven company without losing its soul — and the cost of unclear values, poor communication, and culture left to chance. She has been an Executive Coach and Talent Development lead at Talentism since 2022, bringing that operator depth to leaders navigating growth, team friction, and organizational complexity.
